About the role

We are looking for a motivated Waiter/Waitress to join the team at Barcaffe Academia, a specialty coffee bar located in the heart of Zagreb’s business district. The role involves providing friendly service, preparing beverages, and ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food and drinks to guests in line with company standards.
• Prepare hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and juices.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the work area, bar, and inventory.
• Handle cash register operations and process payments.
• Ensure guest satisfaction through professional communication.
• Follow hygiene standards and procedural guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service.

Required profile

• Secondary education (SSS) completed.
• Strong communication skills and courteous interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in a team and adapt to flexible schedules.
• Energetic and positive attitude.
• Hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory; candidates eager to learn are welcome.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of English.
• Barista skills – ability to prepare coffee and related drinks.
• Speed and efficiency in task execution.
• Resourcefulness in a dynamic environment.
