About the role

We are looking for a motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team in Velika Gorica. The position offers a blend of independent tasks and mentorship, allowing you to develop your accounting skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties and process incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Record bank statements and manage cash transactions.
• Calculate VAT and prepare related reports.
• Handle payroll processing, including salary calculations, travel orders, and per diems.
• Maintain customer and supplier account balances.
• Keep employee records, issue payroll, and submit JOPPD forms.
• Prepare various internal reports and statistical analyses.
• Monitor accounting and finance legislation and ensure compliance.
• Compile the year‑end financial statements.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently while following guidance from a mentor.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial documentation.
