Junior Software QA Engineer – Intralogistics Systems

About the role

Jungheinrich Robotics, with over 30 years of experience in software and digital products, is looking for a Software QA Engineer in Zagreb. The role focuses on end-to-end testing of software together with robots, hardware and connected systems, ensuring the complete solution works reliably before reaching customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and run end-to-end system tests covering software, robots, hardware and system interfaces
• Ensure releases meet quality standards for functionality, reliability, performance and stability at system level
• Define realistic test scenarios based on intralogistics processes and customer use cases
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues across software, robots, hardware, networks and interfaces
• Automate system and integration tests and improve the QA framework and test environments
• Work with developers and other engineering teams to identify quality risks and improve testing and release processes
• Communicate test results, release readiness and quality risks to stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, software engineering, robotics, automation, mechatronics or similar
• 2+ years of experience in software QA or system testing, ideally in robotics, automation, intralogistics, automotive or other complex systems
• Experience with integration, system and end-to-end testing of software and hardware
• Fluent English

Required skills

• Test automation and good knowledge of Python and/or another scripting language
• Understanding of Linux, networks, APIs and software interfaces
• Git, CI/CD and automated test environments
• Nice to have: testing of autonomous mobile robots or intralogistics systems, IO-Systems such as Turck, Siemens, OPCUA, system simulation, performance/load/stability testing, ISTQB certification
