Junior inženjer automatizacije

About the role

We are looking for a junior automation engineer at the start of his/her career who wants to develop in the field of process plant automation. The role offers exposure to international projects for leading clients in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in automation projects from concept through engineering to commissioning.
• Support engineering tasks and program/configure PLC, SCADA, HMI and process control systems.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, test and system documentation, and operating instructions.
• Assist in FAT and SAT testing, start‑up, and qualification activities.
• Analyse technical faults and contribute to optimisations that improve plant availability, quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, computer science or a related technical field.
• Basic knowledge of PLC, SCADA or HMI systems (e.g., Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS 7, ABB).
• Strong technical understanding, meticulous and structured work approach.
• Willingness to learn in a regulated environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• SCADA system knowledge.
• HMI development.
• Familiarity with Siemens S7, TIA Portal, WinCC, PCS 7, ABB platforms.
