About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Zagreb office. The role supports day‑to‑day accounting for our DACCH entities across Germany, Switzerland, Croatia and Austria, ensuring accurate financial transactions and compliance with tax regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, including invoice processing and posting.
- Perform account reconciliations, collections follow‑up and cash‑forecast‑based payment preparation.
- Review travel expense reports and support internal monthly reporting, journal corrections, accruals and account analysis.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve process efficiency and ensure synergy.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or auditing experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English; German or French is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to meet deadlines with international colleagues.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite accounting software.
- Knowledge of Power BI for reporting.
