General Manager (m/ž)

About the role

The General Manager will lead the overall operations of Molum Hotel & Residences, a new 5‑star resort on the Croatian coast. Reporting directly to the Board, the GM is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete business of the resort and daily functioning of all operational segments.
• Plan and execute business, operational and development activities.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to improve results.
• Achieve financial targets, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain high service quality and consistent application of 5‑star standards with attention to detail.
• Develop and enhance products, services and guest experiences with a personalized approach.
• Lead, develop and ensure consistent service standards among staff.
• Plan, monitor and control CAPEX and OPEX investments.
• Build relationships with key business partners.
• Track market trends and identify new business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, internal procedures and relevant quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in economics, tourism or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position, preferably in hotel or resort operations.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial metrics and quality standards.
• Demonstrated leadership, organizational and communication abilities.
• Independent decision‑making and willingness to take responsibility.
• Analytical, proactive and results‑oriented mindset.
• Active knowledge of English.
