Finance Service Specialist – Purchase to Pay

About the role

The Finance Service Specialist – Purchase to Pay will ensure accurate processing of invoices, fixed‑asset transactions and CAPEX activities while supporting month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record incoming invoices for goods, fixed assets, small inventory and IFRS 16‑related transactions.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and small‑inventory registers with full data integrity.
• Manage the complete fixed‑asset lifecycle, including capitalization, transfers, disposals, impairments, retirements and depreciation calculations.
• Monitor and account for CAPEX transactions, ensuring correct classification and compliance.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable, interim accounts and fixed‑asset balances.
• Review accounting entries, identify discrepancies and execute timely corrections.
• Prepare, post and process manual journal entries.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies through coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end closing activities.
• Support inventory and fixed‑asset counts for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with external consultants, tax authorities, financial institutions and auditors as needed.
• Contribute to ERP system enhancements, testing and process improvements.
• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Controlling and other departments to ensure smooth transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, tax regulations and audit requirements.
• Provide accurate financial data for ESG and sustainability reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably with fixed‑asset accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting requirements and IFRS 16.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proficiency in depreciation calculations and CAPEX accounting.
• Asset lifecycle management and account reconciliation expertise.
