Field Sales Representative – Flooring Solutions

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will promote Gerflor’s commercial and sport flooring ranges across the Dalmatia region. You will be responsible for building relationships with specifiers, installers, distributors and end‑users, while ensuring projects are specified, installed and maintained according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the territorial sales budget by conducting roughly 15 customer or site visits per week.
• Visit construction sites to verify delivery times, installation quality, cleaning and maintenance protocols, and to record measurements and quantities.
• Analyse tender documents and user requirements, prepare bids and propose suitable product solutions.
• Promote Gerflor products to architects, interior designers, health authorities, builders and other specifiers.
• Support distributors and dealers with product training and joint customer visits.
• Organise “lunch‑and‑learn” sessions and attend trade shows or road‑show events.
• Maintain accurate project records in the CRM and produce weekly reports.
• Provide market intelligence on competition, distribution trends and standards.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of sales experience dealing with multiple decision‑makers, preferably in flooring, construction or related material sectors.
• Entrepreneurial “hunter” mindset with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Strong networking ability and comfortable visiting active construction sites.
• Self‑motivated, organised and able to work autonomously while following instructions.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a valid driver’s licence.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer literacy.
