Equipment Maintenance Operator (PLC)

About the role

The Equipment Maintenance Operator (PLC) will perform mechanical and electrical preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and control systems, ensuring reliable operation on the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, control networks, instrumentation, drives/servos and electrical systems.
• Configure DCS, SCADA and HMI systems, keep backups, documentation and software revisions up to date.
• Identify and eliminate safety risks, support equipment ownership improvements and assist with equipment setup and changeover.

Required profile

• Fluent English.
• Proven experience with machines and equipment control systems programming and maintenance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in a high‑volume production environment and ability to manage multiple projects.

Required skills

• PLC logic and control sequences.
• HMI settings and user‑interface logic.
• DCS, SCADA and HMI configuration.
• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
