Engineering Manager (Single Phase UPS)

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the design and development of Single‑Phase UPS products. You will guide a multidisciplinary team of Electrical, Software, Mechanical and Test Engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest technical standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define, prioritize and schedule design projects for Single‑Phase UPS solutions.
• Manage lead engineers and individual contributors, providing technical direction and mentorship.
• Coordinate cross‑functional activities across global development teams.
• Report progress, risks and results to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Vertiv’s global Lines of Business and product quality standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of product development or support experience for electrical products.
• Proven technical team‑management experience.
• Deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, AC power and UPS systems.
• Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) design and development.
• Fluent English communication skills and ability to present complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.
