About the role
We are looking for a reliable and respectful individual to join our team as a Funeral Services Worker. The role involves handling the dignified collection and transport of deceased persons and supporting additional tasks as directed by management.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and transport deceased individuals from homes, hospitals, or other locations to our facilities.
- Prepare and maintain transport equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with funeral preparation tasks as assigned by the employer.
- Ensure all documentation related to transport is accurately completed.
Required profile
- Physical ability to handle transport duties and lift equipment safely.
- Strong sense of discretion, empathy, and professionalism.
- Willingness to work fixed daytime hours (07:00‑15:00).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
