About the role

We are looking for a qualified civil engineering graduate to join our design team in Rijeka. The specialist will develop project documentation for hydrotechnical systems, energy‑efficiency measures, thermal protection and noise mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare concept, basic and detailed designs.
• Design water supply and drainage systems.
• Develop energy‑efficiency and thermal‑protection solutions.
• Produce noise‑protection studies.
• Create technical descriptions, calculations, cost estimates and related documents.
• Coordinate with engineers from other disciplines.
• Communicate with investors, partners and public authorities.
• Assist in obtaining permits, approvals and special conditions.
• Conduct site visits and gather data as needed.

Required profile

• University degree in civil engineering (mag. ing. aedif. or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of design experience in hydrotechnics, energy efficiency, thermal protection or noise mitigation.
• Ability to work independently on project documentation.
• Good knowledge of current technical regulations and standards.
• Responsible, organized and capable of autonomous work.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD or ZWCAD.
• Strong command of the MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with specialized design software used for project documentation.
