Customer Marketing Specialist

About the role

Puratos, a global leader in bakery, patisserie and chocolate ingredients, is looking for a Customer Marketing Specialist in Zagreb. As the sole marketing specialist in Croatia, you will turn global marketing strategies into local initiatives and work closely with Sales, Technical Support, Group Marketing and customers on product launches, activations, events and communications. It is a customer-facing role with collaboration across international teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run local marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives and Group marketing strategy.
• Coordinate and support new product launches and ensure effective activation in the Croatian market.
• Create customer presentations, value propositions and sales support materials.
• Partner with Sales, Technical and Group Marketing teams to drive customer engagement.
• Organise customer events, workshops, seminars, trade fairs and promotional activities.
• Deliver customer-facing presentations on products, market trends and consumer insights.
• Adapt global campaigns and materials to local needs, and coordinate digital communication and customer campaigns.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitors, and track marketing performance to recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Economics or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in marketing, customer marketing, trade marketing, sales support or communications.
• Experience organising events, campaigns, product launches or customer activations.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent Croatian and English; willingness to travel across Croatia (about 10-15% of the time).
