Construction & Development Project Manager (m/f)

About the role

The Construction & Development Project Manager will lead the end‑to‑end delivery of new Museum of Illusions locations, overseeing every phase from project planning to grand opening. This role requires close collaboration with architects, contractors, vendors and international stakeholders while ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full construction delivery of new museum sites, from initial planning through opening.
• Coordinate and collaborate with architects, local partners, contractors and vendors throughout each project.
• Identify, select and manage local construction partners, support tender processes and evaluate proposals.
• Oversee construction sites and fit‑out works to ensure compliance with approved plans and technical requirements.
• Monitor project budgets, track committed costs and flag potential cost overruns.
• Plan and track project timelines, taking corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
• Serve as the primary construction‑side point of contact for daily questions, decisions, issues and escalations.
• Contribute to construction team processes and provide regular status reports.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management and site supervision.
• Fluent English with confidence in communicating with international stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Excellent communication and people‑management abilities.
• Proactive, hands‑on and solution‑oriented approach.
