CNC turner / programmer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC turner and programmer to operate an OKUMA CNC lathe at our production facility in Ruščica. The successful candidate will work independently, creating and adjusting CNC programs, selecting tools, and ensuring high‑quality parts are produced according to technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Independent operation of an OKUMA CNC turning centre.
• Programming, setting up, and servicing the CNC machine.
• Creating new CNC programs and correcting existing ones.
• Selecting cutting tools and defining or adjusting machining parameters.
• Manufacturing parts based on technical drawings and work documentation.
• Measuring dimensions and checking quality of finished parts.
• Using measurement instruments such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges and measuring gauges.
• Identifying and reporting process deviations or problems in a timely manner.
• Performing basic maintenance of the machine, tools and workstation.
• Participating in CNC process improvement and productivity initiatives.

Required profile

• Technical or mechanical secondary school education.
• Minimum 2 years experience on CNC turning machines.
• Ability to set up the CNC lathe and prepare it for production independently.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and program correction.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of turning technology, cutting tools and machining parameters.
• Safe use of basic measuring equipment.
• High precision, responsibility and autonomy.
• Problem‑solving skills during machining.
