Claim Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Claim Manager to support the Contract Manager and Project Managers on a large FIDIC Plant & Design‑Build project in Split. The role focuses on contract administration, risk monitoring, and claim handling to ensure the project runs smoothly and complies with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Contract Manager and Project Manager with contract administration and subcontract agreements.
• Identify, assess, and monitor contractual risks, obligations, and interface issues.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on contractual correspondence with stakeholders.
• Manage claim processes, including notification tracking, deadline monitoring, claim preparation, documentation, and defense.
• Collect, organize, and maintain claim‑related documentation and evidence.
• Support variation and change management, preparing and following up on change requests.
• Conduct time‑impact analyses for disruptions and delays.
• Maintain the Claims and Variations Register.
• Assist with document control, payment statements, and contractual submissions.
• Support the Commercial Project Manager in cost data collection and documentation for claims.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law or a related field.
• Proactive, motivated, eager to learn and take responsibility.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Native Croatian speaker with good English proficiency.
