Claim Manager

About the role

The Claim Manager will support the Contract Manager and Project Manager in administering the main contract and subcontract agreements for a FIDIC Plant & Design‑Build project. The role focuses on contract administration, claim handling, and variation management to ensure compliant project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Contract Manager and Project Manager in contract administration and subcontract agreement management.
• Identify, assess, and monitor contractual risks, obligations, and interface issues.
• Prepare, review, and follow up on contractual correspondence with project stakeholders.
• Manage claim activities, including notification tracking, deadline monitoring, claim preparation, documentation, and claim defense.
• Collect, organize, and maintain claim‑related documentation and supporting evidence.
• Assist in variation and change management, preparing and following up on variation requests.
• Prepare time impact analyses for disruptions and delays.
• Maintain and regularly update the Claims and Variations Register.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Law or a related field.
• Proactive, motivated, eager to learn and take responsibility in an international project environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Native Croatian speaker with good written and spoken English.
