About the role

We are looking for a proactive, analytical and responsible professional to support the Finance Director of a leading hotel resort in Croatia. The assistant will help manage daily financial operations and contribute to the overall financial performance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Support the finance department in day‑to‑day operations and act as acting head in the director’s absence.
• Prepare budgets, financial forecasts and cash‑flow planning.
• Coordinate monthly closings and financial reporting.
• Analyse financial results and propose measures to improve business performance.
• Collaborate with hotel departments, owners, auditors and other business partners.

Required profile

• Experience in finance, accounting or controlling, including budgeting, reporting and year‑end closing.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
• Fluent in Croatian and English.
