AML specijalist – sektor pravnih poslova i usklađenosti

About the role

The AML Specialist will work in the Legal & Compliance sector of Allianz Hrvatska, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to authorities and supporting the company’s anti‑money‑laundering (AML) framework. You will collaborate with internal teams and Allianz Group AML officers to strengthen compliance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Submit accurate and timely data, information and documentation to competent authorities for AML and counter‑terrorist financing compliance.
• Monitor the company's compliance with AML laws and regulations and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Coordinate all AML‑related activities across the organization.
• Participate in the development and enhancement of IT systems and procedures that support AML measures.
• Assess AML risk when introducing new products, channels or technologies.
• Organise and deliver AML training for employees.
• Work with the AML Officer and Allianz Group officials to implement Group AML standards.

Required profile

• University degree (law, economics or related fields).
• At least 1 year of AML experience in insurance or financial institutions.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Proactive, independent and responsible attitude.
• Analytical understanding of AML processes.
• Team player with motivation to learn and develop.
• Interest in AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
