AI Speech & Audio Specialist – ASR, TTS & Voice AI (Freelance)

As an AI Speech & Audio Specialist you will play a key role in developing automatic speech recognition (ASR), text‑to‑speech (TTS) and Voice AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate synthetic voice quality (TTS): naturalness, pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, emotion and overall consistency.
• Analyze and improve ASR transcriptions: error detection, handling accent variations and linguistic nuances.
• Professional audio editing: segmentation, cutting, noise reduction, silence adjustment and sound‑quality optimization.
• Use waveform and spectrogram tools to identify technical defects.
• Contribute to creation, validation and enrichment of vocal datasets for training and evaluating AI models.
• Verify clarity, coherence and articulation of recorded speech.

Profile

2‑5 years of experience in audio production, applied linguistics or vocal technologies, excellent written and spoken English, strong critical sense, ability to work autonomously and collaborate with international teams. Proficient with audio editing software (Audacity, Adobe Audition, etc.) and spectral analysis tools. Knowledge of machine‑learning concepts applied to speech is a plus.
