Accountant (m/f)

About the role

SINAPSA d.o.o. is looking for a qualified accountant to independently manage the accounting of a limited liability company and a non‑profit organization based in Zagreb. The role involves full‑cycle bookkeeping, tax reporting and payroll processing in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain general ledgers and accounting records for both entities.
• Issue and fiscalize invoices, record incoming and outgoing invoices.
• Post bank statements and reconcile accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly VAT returns and related forms.
• Calculate employee salaries and external collaborator fees.
• Prepare and submit all statutory forms and reports on time.
• Compile semi‑annual and annual financial statements.
• Monitor legal regulations and accounting deadlines to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or a related field (VSS or VŠS).
• At least 2 years of experience in accounting for a limited liability company and a non‑profit organization.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and handle documentation with precision.
