About the role

Lidl Croatia is looking for a Construction Project Manager to lead the technical and financial aspects of new builds and renovations across its store network. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all construction‑technical issues for new constructions and refurbishments, including post‑occupancy activities.
• Conduct independent investment monitoring, controlling quality, schedule, and costs.
• Coordinate tender processes, verify construction plans, and manage maintenance and repair schedules.
• Select and manage contractors and suppliers, continuously checking work quality.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, energy systems, and cross‑departmental obligations.
• Prepare construction guidelines, detailed reports, and analyses for internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical support and advice to colleagues in the real‑estate and construction area.

Required profile

• Completed higher education in civil engineering or architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or construction project management.
• Confident interaction with external service providers, main contractors, and business partners.
• Self‑motivated, responsible, and meticulous approach to each project.
• Strict adherence to legal regulations, technical guidelines, and company policies.
• Proficiency in German or English.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
• High level of organization and data‑analysis accuracy.
• Strong professional communication skills.
