About the role

The Store Manager leads and organizes the daily operations of a SPAR store, ensuring that sales targets are met and the store runs efficiently. This role involves planning staff schedules, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and organise the work of the store, including opening and closing procedures.
• Plan and coordinate staff schedules and supervise employees.
• Develop the annual sales and investment plan and ensure its execution.
• Achieve sales targets while controlling costs and optimising inventory.
• Analyse sales data, identify improvement actions and implement marketing activities.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and reduce losses.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, hygiene standards and store cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories and evaluate employee performance.

Required profile

• Secondary school, vocational or higher education in economics or a related field.
• Several years of experience in retail, including staff management.
• Good knowledge of the product assortment.
• Reliability and attention to detail in task execution.
