About the role

The company PAG 91 d.o.o. seeks a responsible and technically skilled Maintenance Manager to lead the upkeep of machines, production equipment, electrical installations, facilities and infrastructure at its Čavle plant.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and supervise maintenance activities for machinery, vehicles, production lines and building infrastructure.
• Plan preventive, regular and corrective maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate the work of internal maintenance staff and external contractors.
• Monitor technical condition of assets, quickly address breakdowns to minimise production downtime.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records of faults, service actions, spare parts and completed work in the Pantheon system.
• Plan procurement of spare parts, tools and consumables, obtain and compare supplier quotations.
• Control quality and cost of maintenance tasks and propose technical improvements.
• Lead occupational health and safety activities in collaboration with authorised experts, ensuring compliance with safety and fire protection measures.
• Report regularly to management on equipment status, performed work, safety issues and investment plans.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education (preferably mechanical, electrotechnical or related).
• Proven experience in maintenance of industrial machinery or production equipment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and organise their resolution.
• Strong organisational skills, independence, reliability and problem‑solving orientation.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating external service providers.
• Computer literacy and a valid B‑category driving licence.
