About the role

The Flower Department Manager leads the floral section of our store, ensuring high‑quality products, attractive displays and excellent customer service. You will coordinate ordering, receiving, and presentation of cut flowers and potted plants while supervising the team.

Key responsibilities

• Order, receive and arrange cut flowers and potted plants.
• Maintain quality and quantity standards for incoming stock.
• Create floral arrangements and bouquets.
• Advise customers on plant care and maintenance.
• Deliver outstanding service to shoppers.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
• Apply all prescribed work standards.
• Organise work schedules for department staff.

Required profile

• Secondary school diploma (SSS).
• Minimum 1 year experience in cut‑flower sales or pot plant retail.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Initiative, independence and flexibility.
• Willingness to adopt new practices and continuous learning.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Preferable experience with PC cash‑register systems.
