Voditelj kontrole kvalitete (Quality Manager)

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Manager to lead HACCP and IFS systems, ensure food safety and quality, and support certification and audit processes for our production facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve HACCP and IFS systems, overseeing their implementation.
• Manage the overall quality and food safety system, preparing for certifications and external audits.
• Monitor quality of production processes, raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Organise laboratory analyses and track results.
• Conduct internal audits, handle non‑conformities and drive corrective actions.
• Process customer complaints and communicate with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
• Cooperate with inspection authorities, certification bodies and other external institutions.
• Follow legal and regulatory food safety requirements and implement them.
• Create and maintain quality system documentation and records.
• Participate in new product development, product recalls, and traceability testing.
• Educate employees and promote a culture of quality and food safety.

Required profile

• University degree in food science, biotechnology or a related field.
• Experience in quality control or food safety, preferably in the food industry.
• Knowledge of HACCP and IFS standards and food safety management systems.
• Experience conducting internal audits and working with certification and inspection bodies.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office).
• Strong organisational and analytical abilities, capable of independent problem solving.
• Responsible, proactive and quality‑oriented mindset.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Valid B‑category driving licence.
