Technical Service Support - Part-Time Apprenticeship (Early in Career Program)

About the role

Roche Adriatic has launched a 2-year Apprenticeship Program in Technical Service, aimed at final-year university students. It is a paid, part-time position (20 hours per week, flexible around university schedules) based in Zagreb, Croatia, with a structured development pathway leading to a permanent talent pool.

Key responsibilities

• Year 1: Roche standard onboarding (mQMS, SHE, biohazard safety); introduction to laboratory environments; shadowing senior field service engineers across at least 5 full Preventive Maintenance Visits (PMV); mastering logistics and spare parts management.
• Year 2: Achieving official technical certification (e.g. cobas e411 system); logging actions via ServiceMAX; using remote diagnostics via the ThingWorx Platform (RTP); taking full charge of maintenance checks under expert mentorship.

Required profile

• Final-year student at a Croatian university (FER, FSB or a similar technical/biomedical curriculum).
• Eligible to work 20 hours per week through a valid Student Contract (Studentski Centar).
• Fluent in Croatian and English.
