Support Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Do you want to be part of a successful and expanding team? Are you a convergent thinker with a problem‑solving mindset? We are looking for a highly technical Field Support Engineer for Panasonic’s heating and cooling products, requiring an analytical approach and the ability to act fast.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site field support for partners, direct Panasonic customers, and end‑customers when technical problems arise.
• Support product commissioning and ensure correct system set‑up during pre‑commissioning visits.
• Deliver central technical support for the service‑partner network across the Adriatic region.
• Identify technical issues, develop solutions, and act as the first level of escalation after call‑centre and service partners.
• Train and support new installers on site.
• Travel throughout Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo, and Slovenia, with approximately 30 % field work and 70 % office work.

Required profile

• Technical education in refrigeration, heating, air conditioning, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or field‑based role.
• Strong understanding of heating and cooling systems, including hydraulics, regulations and standards.
• Problem‑solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication skills, ability to work independently and willingness to travel frequently.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of refrigeration, heating and air‑conditioning technologies.
• Understanding of hydraulics in heating and cooling systems and related regulations/standards.
