About the role

The Environmental and Chemical Specialist will be responsible for preparing legally required documentation, registering it with state authorities, and ensuring that all environmental processes comply with current regulations, company policies and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory environmental documents and registrations.
• Align work processes with new regulations, corporate acts and ISO 14001:2015.
• Maintain environmental records, draft internal environmental regulations and manage waste catalogs, labeling and waste‑management plans.
• Coordinate waste disposal activities, collaborate with contracted waste‑handling firms and ensure timely reporting to authorities.
• Oversee monitoring of wastewater and emissions from stationary sources.
• Develop safety data sheets, chemical declarations and operational emergency response plans in line with CLP, REACH and national chemical legislation.
• Supervise storage and use of hazardous chemicals in production.

Required profile

• University degree in natural sciences, chemical engineering, biotechnology or related technical fields.
• Completed training on hazardous‑chemical protection.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar environmental‑compliance role.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical abilities, high reliability and a solid work ethic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001 environmental management system.
