Strategy and Operations Senior Associate

About the role

Our Management Consulting team is looking for a Senior Associate with experience in Strategy and Operations. You will be part of PwC’s Management Consulting practice in Zagreb, serving markets across Southeast Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Work in teams on complex strategy, operations, and transformation projects for private and public sector clients in Croatia and the region.
• Create positive impact by solving important problems and delivering effective strategies.
• Support project delivery through problem solving, solution structuring, communication, presentation, and relationship building.
• Independently lead and manage smaller projects or large project streams.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and understand complex client requirements.
• Develop meaningful recommendations, proposals, and solutions that add value.
• Share knowledge across the PwC network and provide a global perspective.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in strategy/management consulting or a similar corporate role.
• Strong structured and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proven experience managing projects and teams.
• Ability to thrive in an intense work environment and adapt to challenging circumstances.
• Excellent team player with a proactive attitude.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, self‑driven mindset.
• University education, preferably a Master’s degree.
• Fluent communication of complex ideas in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel regionally.
