About the role

The Operational Procurement Specialist will support Franck’s purchasing team in managing daily procurement activities, inventory monitoring, and supplier relations. The role combines routine administrative tasks with strategic initiatives to improve cost efficiency and supply continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Forward daily request for quotations to suppliers and track responses.
• Monitor stock levels and demand in line with planning forecasts.
• Process contracts and maintain contract documentation.
• Research the market to identify more cost‑effective and higher‑quality suppliers for smaller categories.
• Plan activities with internal users, process their procurement requests, and coordinate urgent orders.
• Organise transport, liaise with carriers, and manage customs documentation.
• Prepare reports on open, closed and pending purchase orders.
• Negotiate discounts and extended payment terms.
• Collaborate with strategic procurement, accounting, and internal stakeholders to accelerate order issuance and urgent payments.
• Participate in operational planning and inventory write‑off proposals.

Required profile

• Secondary, higher or university education in economics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar procurement or purchasing role.
• Strong analytical and mathematical thinking.
• Highly proactive, systematic and well‑organized.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Valid B‑category driving licence.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Proficient use of MS Office suite.
