Senior Embedded Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to lead the design and development of firmware for critical industrial systems, ensuring high reliability and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ with focus on stability, performance optimization and long‑term maintainability.
• Integrate software with company‑specific hardware, from initial bring‑up to testing on target boards.
• Implement communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART) for sensors, actuators and peripheral devices.
• Participate in code and architecture reviews, providing feedback to electronics engineers and production teams.
• Produce precise technical documentation and manage version control using Git.

Required profile

• Several years of proven experience in embedded software/firmware development using C/C++.
• Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures such as STM32, SAM or ESP series.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART) and hardware bring‑up/debugging.
• Ability to read schematics and basic digital electronics.
• Proficiency with laboratory tools (JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
• Excellent technical English, both spoken and written.
