Senior Controlling Specialist

About the role

Rheinmetall Unmanned Vehicles is seeking a Senior Controlling Specialist to join its finance team in Zagreb. You will support the company’s financial control processes, reporting, and strategic planning for advanced unmanned systems.

Key responsibilities

• Implement Rheinmetall’s controlling methodologies, procedures and standards.
• Participate in the monthly financial closing, consolidation and inter‑company reconciliation.
• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial and controlling reports.
• Develop data‑driven presentations for senior management.
• Support budgeting, strategic planning and rolling forecasts.
• Calculate and monitor project profitability.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes, internal controls and reporting systems.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Sales, R&D, Procurement and other functions.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling or FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, planning and business analysis.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI for data visualisation and analytics (advantage).
