About the role

The Head Chef leads the kitchen team across several locations, planning daily operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a clean and well‑organized environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the daily production plan with the team and verify the cleanliness, equipment condition, freshness, quantities and labeling of all ingredients.
• Monitor the sales forecast, prepare orders, and during service peaks work on the grill or stations while coordinating kitchen and wait‑staff activities.
• Step in to assist with dishwashing when needed and hand over tasks to the deputy or shift leader at the end of the shift.
• Train staff on proper use of kitchen equipment and on preparing dishes according to Batak recipes and standards.
• Collaborate daily with the restaurant manager, regional manager, HR, quality and inventory departments.

Required profile

• Strong culinary knowledge combined with proven ability to lead, organise and motivate a team.
• Commitment to treat the kitchen and staff as your own, continuously seeking more efficient ways of working.
• Capability to act as a role model, enforcing standards when necessary while also supporting staff.
• Focus on maintaining Batak‑brand standards and ensuring employee satisfaction.
