Sales Representative / Business Developer

About the role

Kuehne & Nagel is looking for a motivated Sales Representative / Business Developer to expand its customer base and deepen relationships with existing clients in the maritime transport sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business cooperation with existing and new customers in line with sales targets.
• Actively acquire new customers through meetings, presentations, negotiations and contract signing.
• Maintain and grow profit per customer and pursue cross‑selling opportunities.
• Prepare offers and price lists, monitor competition and introduce innovative solutions.
• Provide customer support, handle complaints and resolve commercial issues.
• Apply specialized knowledge of sea freight transport.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong motivation, goal‑orientation and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Ability to set priorities, shape processes and work effectively in a team.
• Active knowledge of English.
• Valid category B driving licence.
• At least three years of sales experience.
• Completed undergraduate studies or relevant secondary education (preferred).
• Knowledge of operational processes in maritime transport is a plus.

Required skills

• Active English language proficiency.
• Category B driving licence.
