Sales Engineer – Simulation Software

About the role

SIMTEC Croatia is expanding its presence in the regional market and seeks a motivated Sales Engineer to promote Ansys simulation software and related services. The role focuses on academic and industrial customers in Croatia, Bosnia, and neighboring countries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research and identify target companies.
• Generate new sales opportunities and turn them into long‑term partnerships.
• Respond quickly to sales enquiries and schedule product demonstrations.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
• Build and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of opportunities.
• Prepare quotations and deliver them to customers.
• Collaborate with simulation engineers and technical experts to match solutions with customer needs.
• Attend industry events to generate leads.
• Contribute to business planning and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Fluent in English and Croatian.
• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and initiative.
• Discretion, confidentiality and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office.
• CRM systems.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE software (a plus).
