Procurement Buyer (m/ž)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Procurement Buyer to manage assigned categories, ensure best value, and maintain uninterrupted supply for our operations in Zagreb. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, applying company policies and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities for designated categories in line with corporate policies.
• Support category‑strategy implementation together with strategic procurement and category managers.
• Run RFQs, tenders and negotiations to secure optimal value.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor their performance.
• Assist with supplier onboarding, contract execution and renewals.
• Track costs, identify savings opportunities and optimise demand.
• Handle complaints and facilitate problem‑solving with suppliers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with production, planning, finance, quality and other functions to guarantee continuous supply.
• Utilise SAP and other tools for cost analysis, KPI monitoring and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, ethical standards and audit requirements.

Required profile

• High school diploma (VSS) in economics, logistics, engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG, including work with logistics teams.
• Good understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
• Strong analytical and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
