Presales Engineering Opportunity Lead (m/f)

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Presales Engineering Opportunity Lead to head a multidisciplinary team that creates basic designs for modular and hybrid data centre projects during the proposal phase. You will act as the technical bridge between sales, customers and internal engineering disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers in developing basic designs for modular data centres, power rooms and cable landing stations.
• Read and interpret RFQs, tender documents and customer requirements gathered by the sales team.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Coordinate architecture, civil, electrical, HVAC, monitoring & control, and fire‑protection disciplines.
• Manage technical coordination with customers and suppliers.
• Supervise and review the preparation of technical documentation for Vertiv modular data‑centre solutions.
• Incorporate customer requirements into proposed solutions and provide technical assistance during sales activities.
• Travel internationally for customer meetings, seminars and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in data‑centre design or related engineering fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact with clients and internal teams.
• Leadership experience and ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level).
