Presales Electrical Engineer – Data Center Power Systems

About the role

Vertiv Croatia is looking for a Presales Electrical Engineer to support the design and quotation of data‑center power solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust, compliant electrical architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop concept designs for data‑center electrical power systems, incorporating traditional and AI‑driven design requirements.
• Interpret RFPs and tender documents, providing technical solutions and accurate quotations.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, controls, and fire‑protection disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant codes and standards for electrical equipment and installations.
• Perform modular data‑center technical solution design and support the sales process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power system design.
• Proficiency in sizing, specification, load calculations, short‑circuit analysis, and protection coordination.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills.
• Advanced PC skills: Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD.
