About the role

The Operational Traffic Controller ensures the smooth execution of the airline’s flight schedule, monitors real‑time conditions, and supports flight crews throughout the journey. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, coordinating with the Operations and HUB centres to minimise delays and maintain safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the planned flight schedule and react promptly to deviations.
• Continuously assess the impact of weather, airport status, airspace constraints and fleet technical condition on operations.
• Track fleet availability and identify potential operational limitations.
• Coordinate the work of the Operations and HUB centres during the shift, prioritising tasks in real time.
• Adjust capacities and resources to reduce delays and prevent their propagation.
• Manage flight re‑routing or cancellations when necessary.
• Provide crews with timely operational information and support during flights.
• Organise and coordinate ad‑hoc or special flights.

Required profile

• Completed at least a higher education program (minimum 180 ECTS), preferably in aviation or a technical field.
• Proficient in English.
• Calm under pressure, able to make thoughtful decisions quickly.
• Strong prioritisation skills when multiple issues arise simultaneously.
• Clear, timely and effective communication.
• Team‑oriented with a safety‑first mindset.
• Interest in aviation and a desire to understand the full operation.
• Willingness to learn, develop and continuously expand knowledge and skills.
