About the role

The Chemical‑Mechanical Cleaning Operator works in a refinery environment, preparing oil‑contaminated surfaces for high‑pressure washing and ensuring equipment is kept in safe operating condition.

Key responsibilities

• Mechanically prepare surfaces contaminated with petroleum derivatives using scrapers, shovels, and pushers.
• Apply industrial degreasers and treat surfaces to remove oil residues before washing.
• Manually operate high‑pressure washers (100–600 bar) to clean prepared surfaces.
• Work in confined spaces such as tanks, vessels and columns while wearing protective masks.
• Handle, maintain and document the use of cleaning equipment.
• Perform minor repairs on tools and equipment independently.

Required profile

• Valid VKV/SSS certification.
• Relevant experience in similar chemical‑mechanical cleaning tasks.
• Category B driving licence.
• Medical fitness for work with hazardous chemicals.
• Willingness to work on‑site in field conditions.

• Operation of high‑pressure washing equipment (100–600 bar).
• Mechanical surface preparation using hand tools.
• Use of industrial degreasers and cleaning agents.
• Equipment maintenance and minor mechanical repairs.
• Working safely in confined spaces with respiratory protection.
