About the role

We are looking for a qualified eye optician to join our optical shop in Sisak. The role combines sales, customer service and technical work on eyewear, ensuring high‑quality products and advice for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales activities, advise customers on glasses, contact lenses and related solutions.
• Handle optical and ophthalmic equipment, measure and centre dioptric lenses.
• Produce prescription glasses, conduct minor repairs of glasses and sunglasses.
• Communicate daily with existing and potential clients, providing professional guidance on the use and care of optical aids.
• Order lenses and contact lenses independently and manage inventory using optical software.

Required profile

• Diploma as a technician for eye optics with at least 2 years of uninterrupted relevant experience.
• Demonstrated precision, strong communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Flexibility, teamwork orientation, resourcefulness and a passion for sales.
• Responsibility and eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Good computer literacy.

Required skills

• Operation of optical/ophthalmic devices.
• Dioptric lens measurement and centering.
• Use of optical software for ordering and inventory management.
• Computer literacy (general office applications).
