Microbiological Lab Analyst (m/f)

About the role

The Microbiological Lab Analyst will perform microbiological testing on samples related to product characterization, production, final control, and stability studies. The role supports quality assurance activities in a pharmaceutical environment and contributes to method development and validation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological analyses of samples for quality purposes using validated methods.
• Participate in the development and validation of new analytical methods.
• Receive samples, record data, and issue accurate analysis results.
• Maintain analytical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
• Manage procurement of chemicals, standards, and laboratory consumables.
• Support equipment qualification and validation activities.
• Undertake additional tasks aligned with professional training and experience.

Required profile

• University degree in biotechnology, food technology, medical, pharmaceutical, veterinary, laboratory sciences or related fields.
• Fluent in Croatian and proficient in English.
• Willingness to work morning and afternoon shifts and occasional weekends.
• Preference for candidates with experience in pharmaceutical production.

Required skills

• Competency in MS Office applications.
