About the role

The company is looking for a skilled mechanic to maintain and service machines, devices and production lines in its Vrbovec facility. The role involves both routine preventive work and rapid response to breakdowns to keep production running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain machines, devices and production lines.
• Perform preventive maintenance and promptly resolve faults and production stoppages.
• Disassemble, assemble and commission machines.
• Lubricate machines, change oil and replace basic consumable parts.
• Participate in machine overhauls and technical interventions.
• Carry out locksmith and welding tasks, including repair and fabrication of parts, packaging, carts, racks, etc.
• Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with electricians on complex tasks.
• Maintain basic technical records.
• When qualified, work on more complex systems, adjust production lines, monitor machine performance and independently solve demanding faults.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education (mechanic, locksmith, machine technician or related).
• Experience in similar roles is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
• Responsibility, precision and technical resourcefulness.
