Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Marketing Specialist will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of marketing activities for Zagreb Aquarium, focusing on brand building, visitor attraction and partnership development with tourism, business and educational stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain the annual marketing plan, define goals, target groups, channels, budget and key campaigns.
• Develop brand campaigns, visual identities and creative concepts, ensuring consistent application across all media.
• Manage digital presence, including website and web‑shop maintenance, content updates and performance analysis.
• Produce and coordinate social‑media content, influencer collaborations and paid campaigns.
• Establish and nurture relationships with tourism boards, hotels, other attractions and partners.
• Plan, produce and distribute printed promotional materials, monitoring stock and relevance.
• Track and report on campaign results, sales data, visitor sources and marketing budget efficiency.

Required profile

• Driving licence category B.
• Education in marketing, economics, communications or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Experience in marketing is a plus, but entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong analytical, organizational and creative abilities.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
