Landside Operations Specialist

About the role

Maersk, a global logistics company, is looking for a Landside Operations Specialist to support its growing customer portfolio. The role is full-time and on site, based in Rijeka (Croatia), Budapest (Hungary), Bratislava (Slovakia) or Koper/Ljubljana (Slovenia). You will manage and coordinate transport and logistics activities for customers and act as their main operational contact.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate transport and logistics activities for customers.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely execution across the supply chain.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, giving updates and resolving operational inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for customers' success.
• Handle shipping documentation and ensure data accuracy in operational systems.
• Identify and proactively resolve shipment disruptions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Build strong customer relationships and contribute to service excellence.

Required profile

• Studies in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, transportation or customer service; related work experience is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and the local language, written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Customer-centric mindset with attention to detail.
