About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chef to join the culinary team at Mövenpick Hotel & Residences Kvarner Bay. The successful candidate will work in both à la carte and pantry kitchens, delivering high‑quality dishes that meet our brand’s standards of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes for à la carte and pantry service.
• Decorate and present plates according to the hotel’s visual standards.
• Participate in menu development and creation.
• Ensure the correctness of ingredients, preparation methods, and overall dish quality.
• Control and coordinate the presentation of dishes on buffet tables.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar chef or cook position.
• Secondary or higher education in culinary arts or hospitality.
• Passion for gastronomy and a commitment to high quality.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle pressure.
• Responsibility, precision, and strong teamwork spirit.
• Fluency in Croatian and English.
