About the role

The Operational Procurement Coordinator will manage the end‑to‑end purchase‑to‑pay process, acting as the reliable link between Procurement, Goods Receiving and Accounts Payable. This permanent role is based in Zagreb and offers a dynamic environment within a large, stable multinational company.

Key responsibilities

• Daily operational management of the purchase‑to‑pay cycle.
• Serve as the primary contact between Procurement, Receiving and Accounts Payable.
• Review and process purchase requisitions.
• Create, maintain and adapt purchase orders in the ERP/e‑procurement system (Onventis/SAP).
• Obtain and verify order confirmations and delivery dates.
• Monitor open purchase orders, send reminders and handle escalations.
• Support goods receipt and invoice verification, resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain master data such as delivery addresses and price updates.
• Ensure compliance with processes, approval guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Provide status updates and address invoice deviations for business units.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar procurement role.
• Higher education (SSS/VŠS/VSS) or equivalent.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Highly independent, fast‑paced, structured and reliable in prioritising tasks.

Required skills

• Extensive use of ERP/e‑procurement systems, preferably SAP and/or Onventis.
• Ability to create and modify purchase orders, manage approval workflows and resolve clarifications.
