About the role

Rijeka Gateway d.o.o. is seeking a detail‑oriented Container Transactions Controller to ensure accurate processing of container movements at its modern terminal in Rijeka, Croatia. The role involves monitoring exceptions, coordinating with operational teams, and maintaining data integrity in the terminal operating system.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor OCR exceptions and act according to defined procedures.
• Proactively oversee container transactions, truck visits and scanning processes.
• Coordinate with operational teams to resolve exceptions.
• Ensure smooth operation of automated processes at inbound and outbound gates.
• Timely record and update data in the Terminal Operating System (TOS).
• Communicate with colleagues and other departments to address operational challenges.
• Work in compliance with safety, quality and HSSE standards.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in terminal, logistics or related operational activities.
• Experience in container receiving and dispatch is a plus.
• Secondary school education (SSS) or equivalent.

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Problem‑solving in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Basic to intermediate English and fluent Croatian.
• Familiarity with OCR processes and TOS is advantageous.
