About the role

You will report to the Head of Industrial Controlling for Southern Europe and work within an international team of seven colleagues. The role bridges production processes and financial performance, ensuring accurate reporting and proactive cost management.

Key responsibilities

• Translate production processes into financial indicators and explain impacts to operational teams.
• Ensure timely and compliant local and group reporting.
• Analyse variances between actual results, budgets, forecasts and prior year.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts in close collaboration with the plant.
• Analyse capacity utilisation, productivity and cost variations.
• Monitor inventory levels, turnover speed and identify obsolescence risks.
• Oversee inventories and ensure correct financial valuation according to group standards.
• Support engineering with financial modelling and investment profitability validation.
• Track investment performance, budget execution and post‑investment reviews.
• Ensure proper asset capitalization and apply internal control procedures.

Required profile

• University degree in economics or engineering with a management focus.
• Relevant experience in a similar controlling position.
• Reliable, autonomous with strong analytical and communication skills.
• Fluent in Croatian and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of Power Query, VBA and Business Intelligence tools (preferred).
• Familiarity with SAP (preferred).
